Who are we?

Welcome to our blog. Narrandera Arts & Creative Network Inc. (NACNet) aims to create links between creatives and support them through workshops, access to our workshop space and more.

The workshop space is at the Narrandera Railway Station, and we (naffly) refer to it as the ArtsHub@theStation.

Join NACNet and enjoy the benefits. And please let us know if you have a local arts-related website or information you'd like to share.

What's Happening Now in Narrandera?

The Cad Factory is working with local makers and renowned Textile Artist Nicole Barakat to create a textile based work which will become a part Shadow Places, a larger multi-disciplinary work that will be exhibited at the Powerhouse Museum (now Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences) in Castle Hill from 2 September.

The Cad Factory is also working with local makers for a supported studio project around Land Dialogues to create work which will be exhibited at Narrandera Arts Centre in October.

Western Riverina Arts will hold an arts networking get-together at the Narrandera Arts Centre on Saturday 15 June 2016 at 5pm. Join us for a nibble and drinks - give a short presentation about your arts or just meet other artists, writers and makers.

That is the first day (16 July from 10am)  on which the Arts Centre will be open. See the Murrumbidgee Marramarra Exhibition. A very fine collection of work by Aboriginal artists from the Griffith district.

Sarah McEwan is curating the third in a series of exhibitions in recognition of International Women's Day. Around 22 female artists from across the Riverine will exhibit at the Gallup Gallery at CSU Wagga Campus in March 2017.

Pen to Paper is meeting weekly at member's homes.
Makers Group meets at the ArtsHub@theStation second Saturday of each month from 10am. Bring what you are working on.
